Pisa is without doubt the one of the most interesting centres for shopping in Italy and the numerous districts and streets in Pisa provide a shopper's paradise.

There is usually late-night shopping every week on Thursdays in Pisa.

• Marina di Pisa Market - this clothing market includes a large selection of second-hand clothes
• Piazza delle Vettovaglie- an excellent daily food market just of Via Borgo Stretto, full of fresh Italian produce, from 07:00 to 13:30
• Ponti di Mezzo - an antiques market held on the second weekend of each month
• Piazza Vittirio Emanuele II - a large variety of exotic medieval flavours can be found in this little farmers market
• There are also a number of stands lined up on the green lawn near to the tower selling souvenirs, including models of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and other Pisan buildings. The souvenirs are generally of good quality and this in an interesting place to browse
